The Eternal Brotherhood
Born to a blacksmith in the small village of Westerfield, Thorir grew up around weapons. When he was a child he would often make wooden swords so that he could have duels with his younger brother, but his brother was more interested in selling them to the other children. This relationship to their father’s business persisted, and when it was time for the family business to be passed down to the next generation, Thorir decided that his brother was more suited to the business world, and that he would rather wield a weapon than make one. He said his goodbyes, and with greatspear in hand, complete with his father’s seal, and armor-bound, Thorir took up work as a bodyguard with a traveling merchant, a fellow by the name of Dak, who was traveling to the big city, Fallcrest.
